Numbers 6:14 There he is to present his offerings to the LORD: a year-old male lamb without defect for a burnt offering, a year-old ewe lamb without defect for a sin offering, a ram without defect for a fellowship offering,
Also, inside a house there are things which are ready to use and can not be immediately used by the Owner or Master of the house.
2 Timothy 2:20 In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for noble purposes and some for ignoble.
When one is hungry and wants to eat, he will not wash the dishes first when there are plates, glasses, spoons & forks available for use.
Even in a bachelor's point of view, he would without hesitation choose the beautiful and desirable woman inside and out in place of the other.
What do I mean? Who wants useless articles, animals, humans? Nobody, Isn't it?
Deuteronomy 32:39 Now see that I, even I, am He, And there is no God besides Me; I kill and I make alive; I wound and I heal; Nor is there any who can deliver from My hand.
But why oh Lord? Why my dearly son whom I love? Why my good Son? Why not kill the criminals on the street, the pushers, the murderers, the menace of society, why not me instead?
God purposely choose offerings without blemish. If you want yourself in place of your good son, then, be without defect ready to face your Creator.
2 Timothy 2:21 If a man cleanses himself from the latter, he will be an instrument for noble purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.
But remember, who shall separate us from the love of Christ?
Romans 8:38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,
Romans 8:39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Is God therefore favors the wicked?
2 Peter 3:8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
I beseech you therefore, brethren, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship.
