Anyone knows why the wedding ring should be put on the fourth finger?
It is further explained:
Thumb represent parents Second finger represents brothers & sisters Center finger represents own self Fourth finger represents your partner Last finger represents your children |
First, join your palms as shown below. The center finger bent and put together back to back.
Second, let the rest of the 4 fingers touch tips by tip.
This is the interesting part, follow the instructions below for all the 5 fingers but only 1 pair can split.
Try to open your thumb, the thumb represents parents, it can be opened because all human being do go through sickness and death. Whoever may be, our parents will leave us one day.
Please close up your thumb. Then open your second finger, this finger represents brothers & sisters, they do have their own family which is the reason that they will leave us too.
Now close up your second fingers. Open up your little finger which represents your children. Sooner or later they will too leave us for they got their own life to live.
Close up your little finger now. Try to open your fourth finger in which we put our wedding ring.
You will be amazed to find that it cannot be opened at all. This is because it represents husband and wife.
The whole life you will be attached to each other.
Honestly, I was not amazed at all. Why?
One of the partner may go through sickness and death too. Whoever may die, one partner will leave the other and the living will possibly find a new partner as a new family someday.
The Romans 7:2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.
God's law is also clear. For a reason of fornication (marital unfaithfullness), you can divorce your husband or wife.
Matthew 5:32 But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, causes her to become an adulteress, and anyone who marries the divorced woman commits adultery.
Matthew 19:9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.
But the truth is, I really can't open the fourth finger and my wife is confident that I can not as of now.
