Calling All Dog Lovers

I am calling all nations who are dog lovers.

Your dog is comfortably living and dependent with you.

On the contrary, street children are everywhere, hungry, cold, lonely, afraid, abused, sick, lost, sleeping in discomfort while some of you are bragging online about your major role as dog foster parents.

OMG, What's happening to this World?

We can't become holy or be eternally rewarded by feeding & caring for those greedy dogs.

Galatians 6:10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

I saw that you have large and expensive buildings which was built for the primary purpose of worship - cathedrals, basilicas, mosques, synagogues, hagia sophia, etc. All closed for poor members who are forsaken to sleep on the street but your dogs sleep conveniently in the comfort of your own homes.

Are dogs more important than human? Why not sell those temples to accommodate the street children and the less fortunate members? God is not there anyway!

Acts 17:24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

Killings On The North Side

The eating of dog meat is a cultural practice that Westerners may never come to accept or understand.

It is only at the time when Philippines was publicly perceived as a dog eating country that authorities created a law on butchering dogs for food as illegal. It is called the Animal Welfare Act of 1998 & the Anti-Rabies Law of 2007, but this did not stop some of the local folks in Baguio or the Ilocanos in the north to stop the practice as evidenced by the series of arrest made from meat traders coming from the south transporting dogs to the north side.

The very reason why I shifted to another business in 1998 to conform with the new law.

Some Filipino drinkers then love dog delicacies as appetizer when taken with wine (we call it "pulutan" in tagalog). Who can forget the kilawin (the undercooked dog skin with vinegar, onion, ginger, pepper & salt), the adobo or the famous up & down (the head, toes & feet with sour tamarind).

It's a lucrative business actually. I butchered 3 dogs a day and sometimes not enough for the greedy drinkers.

You may ask, what is the relation of the story with your religion blog? Nothing much. I'm just thinking that somehow, as if, I did revenge with the greedy dogs.

Isaiah 56:11 Yes, they are greedy dogs Which never have enough. And they are shepherds Who cannot understand; They all look to their own way, Every one for his own gain, From his own territory.

A greedy dog that goes back to its own vomit.

2 Peter 2:22 But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: “A dog returns to his own vomit,” and, “a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire.”

Like the killing of the sheep that represents the lamb of Jesus Christ.

Leviticus 1:10 ‘If his offering is of the flocks—of the sheep or of the goats—as a burnt sacrifice, he shall bring a male without blemish.

Leviticus 1:11 He shall kill it on the north side of the altar before the LORD; and the priests, Aaron’s sons, shall sprinkle its blood all around on the altar.

Is it just a coincidence that the killings of dog and sheep or goats were both done on the north side?

Grasshoppers & Locusts

I came from a poor family in the North. I am the second to the eldest. The meager income of my father who is a military man can not augment the schooling and expenses of his ten (10) children.

My children are asking, how did you survive Dad?

After School, I usually go to the field and catch grasshoppers and locusts that creeps inside a dried cow dung or files of stones. My mother wipes the sweat in my face and body for she knows I am tired of chasing grasshoppers to catch them with a broom like tool. Some grasshoppers don't fly, they jump from one place to another so you can catch them easily.

Yak, said my children. Is that edible?

Leviticus 11:21 Yet these may ye eat of every flying creeping thing that goeth upon all four, which have legs above their feet, to leap withal upon the earth;

In fact, this is how John the baptist survived in his days.

I became the number one player in track & field during my high school days because I can chase and catch a quail when they are down on their third fall of flying because this is the time when they catch their breath and just hid anywhere.

I envy the Israelite when chasing the quails is not a problem. They just gathered them.

Numbers 11:31 And there went forth a wind from the LORD, and brought quails from the sea, and let them fall by the camp, as it were a day's journey on this side, and as it were a day's journey on the other side, round about the camp, and as it were two cubits high upon the face of the earth.

Whatever, said my youngest daughter, I will not eat anything that I don't know. No problem, I said, I will introduce you ahead before we eat them.

Squid Ministers & Leaders

No, I don't mean our black brother in Nigeria, Africa or President Barack Obama.

Squids use their ink as a means to flee or deter predators. When threatened, squid will release this dark cloudy substance in hopes of intimidating the incoming danger.

Leaders who twist all that is right are like squids that uses ink as an escape mechanism.

Micah 3:9 Now hear this, You heads of the house of Jacob And rulers of the house of Israel, Who abhor justice And pervert all equity,

It seems that it is the other way around. They are the predators darkening the already clear situation, like this aborted medical mission.

Covered with the corresponding permits, while conducting free medical missions, doctors and organizers are threatened and intimidated by Police authorities in response to a baseless report of a town leader for an unknown reason.

Further investigation disclosed that the reason for such action is that the sponsor of the medical mission happens to be the rival religion of the town leader where she is a member of.

It is very alarming, when leaders who are sworn in office to protect and serve the people are the ones who opposes the people from doing good deeds.

Mark 9:38-40 Now John answered Him, saying, “Teacher, we saw someone who does not follow us casting out demons in Your name, and we forbade him because he does not follow us.” But Jesus said, “Do not forbid him, for no one who works a miracle in My name can soon afterward speak evil of Me. For he who is not against us is on our side.

They are always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. What we have to put away are evil persons not those performing medical missions for free.

1 Corinthians 5:12-13 For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside? But those who are outside God judges. Therefore “put away from yourselves the evil person.”

Granting that your religion is true, then put away from among yourselves this evil town leader and let God judge him when he is already outside your Church.

Unless, you are the squid minister of this squid leader and your father is the devil.

John 8:44 You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.

Swine Flu - A Constant Reminder From God

Swine Influenza (swine flu) is a respiratory disease of pigs caused by type A influenza viruses. Outbreaks of swine flu happen regularly in pigs. People do not normally get swine flu, but human infections can and do happen.

Most commonly, human cases of swine flu happen in people who are around pigs but it’s possible for swine flu viruses to spread from person to person.

Person-to-person transmission of flu occurs mainly through coughing or sneezing of people infected with the influenza virus. People may become infected by touching something with the flu viruses on it and then touching their mouths or noses.

With the possibility of dangerous pandemics looming (Swine Flu, SARS, Bird Flu, HFMD), and antibiotic resistant superbugs (EV71, MRSA, VRE) on the rise, we are faced with the dilemma of how to protect ourselves and families from infectious disease without exposing them to toxic chemicals.

Christians are sensitive of the disasters that are happening around them, knowing that it is how God makes man known His wrath.

Psalm 18:7 Then the earth shook and trembled; The foundations of the hills also quaked and were shaken, Because He was angry.

Isaiah 13:11 “ I will punish the world for its evil, And the wicked for their iniquity; I will halt the arrogance of the proud, And will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.

Isaiah 13:13 Therefore I will shake the heavens, And the earth will move out of her place, In the wrath of the LORD of hosts And in the day of His fierce anger.

Isaiah 13:16 Their children also will be dashed to pieces before their eyes; Their houses will be plundered And their wives ravished.

Like earthquakes and floods, who can evade a swine flu when it is mixed with the air that we breathe. Swine flu is a plague that can be avoided only if we have the seal of God. Like the wrath of God to Egypt on the death of the first born.

Exodus 12:12 For I will pass through the land of Egypt on that night, and will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD.

Exodus 12:13 Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.

Is it Paranoia? Of course not!

Deuteronomy 32:39 Now see that I, even I, am He, And there is no God besides Me; I kill and I make alive; I wound and I heal; Nor is there any who can deliver from My hand.

For taking a dosage of toxic antibiotics, He made us alive for the meantime, reminding us constantly that He is somewhere looking at us.
