Down Under

The Earth, which is our base from which we look into space, is constantly moving. Understanding this movement is one of the most useful and important things in Astronomy.

The earth orbits the sun in an elliptical orbit and the moon orbits the earth with the same kind of orbit. Looking down from the north pole, the earth spins in a counterclockwise direction. This accounts for the fact that the sun rises in the east and sets in the west.

Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Gen 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep: and the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

Gen 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

Gen 1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

Gen 1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night: and the evening and the morning were the first day.

At a glance, we may see that the sun and moon are the moving planet and feels that the earth is steady in its position. This is the exact perception of Joshua when he asked the Lord for the sun and moon to stood still.

Josh 10:12 Then spoke Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon, and thou Moon, in the valley of Ajalon.

Josh 10:13 And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.

God is going down to our level. In the manner to which we would understand. Just imagine if God would explain the solar system to Joshua at that time, that it is not the sun and moon that should stood still but the earth in it's counterclockwise rotation.

Is 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

Is 55:9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Truly, wherever we are in this globe, when we look at the heaven, it is always located up above the earth, though in God's perception it is not so because knowing now the solar system, the heaven up above is sometimes down under.

In the beginning God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Gen 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said to them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living animal that moveth upon the earth.

But because of their wickedness God cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights: and every living substance that He have made will be destroyed from the face of the earth.

1 Pet 3:20 Who formerly were disobedient, when once the long-suffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was preparing, in which few, that is, eight souls, were saved by water.

Gen 9:1 And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.

In this present situation where population exploded in uncontrollable proportion, is the command be fruitful and multiply still in effect?

Family planning is a term referring to methods in accordance with the requirements for sexual behavior in keeping with the dignity of the human person and including the use of other methods of birth control.

Periodic abstinence are the only methods deemed moral by some quarters for avoiding pregnancy and  limits sexual intercourse to naturally infertile periods. But the Scripture says:

1 Cor 7:29 But this I say, brethren, The time is short. It remaineth, that both they that have wives, be as though they had none;

It does not however defraud one another to have sexual intercourse except with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan may not tempt you for your incontinence.

1 Cor 7:4 The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.

Just be considerate to your partner and responsible.

Very Close

Matthew 16:18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

For where two or three are gathered inside the Church together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.

Matthew 18:15-20 “Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother. But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that ‘by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.’ And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector. “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

This is what the LORD Almighty says: I myself am going.

Zechariah 8:20-21 “Thus says the LORD of hosts: ‘ Peoples shall yet come, Inhabitants of many cities; The inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, “ Let us continue to go and pray before the LORD, And seek the LORD of hosts. I myself will go also.”

This is also what the LORD Almighty says: I will hear from heaven.

2 Chronicles 7:14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

But you, when you pray, do pray in secret that our Father may see and reward us.

Matthew 6:5-7 “And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.

With God in our midst, going with us, hearing us and seeing us, He's indeed very very close to us.
