2 Samuel 7:14 I will be his Father, and he shall be My son. If he commits iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men and with the blows of the sons of men.
I feel sorry for them because I have never trained them when they are still young, being too busy with earthly sort of things. You know, job, leisure, wine, women, vices, name it. I was a complete prisoner of sins.
Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.
How can I teach the children when they see in me the opposite of righteousness. It is never too late, I guess, for I have other recourse - the word of God.
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
This is only applicable to those within my reach, but to you readers what can I do? but to remind you of Saint Paul who is a competent minister of the church of God for the Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, Thessalonians etc.
1 Corinthians 4:17 For this reason I have sent Timothy to you, who is my beloved and faithful son in the Lord, who will remind you of my ways in Christ, as I teach everywhere in every church.
1 Corinthians 4:21 What do you want? Shall I come to you with a rod, or in love and a spirit of gentleness?
The above title and picture is misleading. I really mean, I slapped and kicked my daughter with the word of God powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword.
