Unrighteous Law

Violators of the law don't understand neither what they say or do for although looking they can not see, and although listening they can not understand, so they may not repent and be forgiven.

1 Timothy 1:9-10 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;

Not looking back, after we have received the knowledge of the truth being saved by grace through faith, we all learned that the spirit giveth life. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made us free from the law of sin and death.

Romans 8:1 [There is] therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

For they that are after the flesh and doing the things of the flesh, they will still remain under the law purposely made for the unrighteous.

Man Made

The Scripture according to those who don't believe is only made and written by men and therefore it has flaws and contradictions where some things are hard to understand.

2 Peter 3:16 As also in all [his] epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as [they do] also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

A nest made by a bird is for the bird but everything used by human are created out of man's ingenuity.

A computer is made only by man yet we are using it as reference. It is illogical if the prophecy of the scripture that came not by the will of man can not be used for the reason it is man made.

2 Peter 1:19-21 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake [as they were] moved by the Holy Ghost.

If the prophecy of the scripture did not ever comes about by the prophet’s own imagination, then, in who's power it came from?

Isaiah 34:16 Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them.

Lesson From God

The rain that flooded some areas of Metro Manila, Philippines brought about by typhoon Ondoy creates massive destruction of properties and death, with some still not accounted for.

This is the right time that we who are not victim of the situation may show any kind of support. An opportunity given by God to all of us, especially those who has the capacity to do so, to share what they have.

1 Timothy 6:17-18 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;

Bear in mind that giving is not that simple as one may think. It is a divine gesture measured according to the intent of the heart.

2 Corinthians 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, [so let him give]; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

Give charity in secret for if given for the purpose of publicity is a curse from God instead of a blessing.

Matthew 6:3-4 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.

The disaster being presented in different form, the charity and the helping of one another is something not new to us. Moving only when the iron is hot, when the whole world is looking, then draws back the helping hand afterward.

Ecclesiastes 3:14-15 I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth [it], that [men] should fear before him. That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.

It is a lesson from God that will happen again & again until we all learn and will know by heart that the Creator can modify His creation anytime, anywhere, anyhow.

Deuteronomy 32:39 See now that I, [even] I, [am] he, and [there is] no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither [is there any] that can deliver out of my hand.

A lesson that we should not trust in ourselves, in our possession & in all that we have but in the living God, who created all things.

The Man of God

With the sprouting of preachers, pastors and priests calling themselves holy, most holy and reverend, knowing who is who is very hard to distinguish. This was prophesied in the scriptures, warning us "the next generation" before hand.

Matthew 7:15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.

We have the saying that the fish can be catch by the mouth, the same with preachers, pastors and priests. They are caught by the mouth even without knowing their works in secret.

John 7:18 He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who seeks the glory of the One who sent Him is true, and no unrighteousness is in Him.

Proverbs 26:12 Do you see a man wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him.

Our basis of faith is written down for us, that our faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. Logically, any rituals or religious customs not written are from man's invention and definitely not from God.

Psalm 102:18 This will be written for the generation to come, That a people yet to be created may praise the LORD.

Hearing great wonders and marvelous things from anyone to strengthen our faith which are not written, that man is speaking of himself, therefore, he is not the man of God.

Galatians 1:8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.

For Edification

Hebrews 10:25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

The assembling together of believers is a way of building up the body of Christ.

Ephesians 4:12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,

In sports like weight lifting, one requires a proper work out that will cause the growth in the muscles of the body to build up.

Ephesians 4:16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

For any group of sports to win, they must work out and play as a team. All geared towards perfection with a single purpose of creating a sure plan on how to win the game.

1 Corinthians 14:26 How is it then, brethren? Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification.

Whether in Religion or in Sports, irregular attendance makes anyone a loser.

Praise The Lord

How great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge? How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways?

Jeremiah 9:24 But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me, That I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,” says the LORD.

The living and non-living things do praise God.

Psalm 148:7-13 Praise the LORD from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps: Fire, and hail; snow, and vapours; stormy wind fulfilling his word: Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars: Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl: Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth: Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children: Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.

As long as the creature does the purpose of its creation, fulfilling His word is praising the Lord.

Bitter Than Death

I was raised up to the idea that men are by nature polygamous. As the mind is set on the things of the flesh, It is but natural to have relationships with women.

Romans 8:5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.

But those who are not in the flesh pleases God.

Ecclesiastes 7:26 And I find more bitter than death. The woman whose heart is snares and nets, Whose hands are fetters. He who pleases God shall escape from her, But the sinner shall be trapped by her.

Prisoner Of The Dark

2 Peter 1:20-21 knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

The gospel being sealed, God who commanded light to shine out of darkness will also call us out from darkness to light.

2 Corinthians 4:3-4 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.

Who can say that the LORD is the strength of my life, my light and my salvation?

1 Peter 2:9-10 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.

Everyone who does evil things hates the light. They will not come into the light. They are afraid that what they do will be seen.

James 3:2 For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body.

Not until God chose you to be his people, you are a prisoner of the dark.

Personal Hygiene

Matthew 15:11 Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man.”

Matthew 15:19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.

Matthew 15:20 These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man.”

Spiritually true, but the washing of the hand is necessary in personal hygiene.

Most Woman's disease and disorder, urinary infection, bleeding, sexually transmitted diseases/HIV, is associated with man's carelessness & negligence.

Just think of a drunk Mechanic husband having sex with his wife without washing his hands & organ. This may be the dirtiest ever that you can imagine.

Matthew 23:26 Blind Pharisee, first cleanse the inside of the cup and dish, that the outside of them may be clean also.

For some women, don't be in a hurry, let your hubby take a bath first before the romance begin.

Hatred Is Murder

1 John 3:15 Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.

At a glance, the law of Christ is very hard to follow. Hate is something anyone would normally feel in a day to day life. You hate your job, hate this, hate that, hate him or her. Moreover, Why do we have to love an enemy who is not lovable at all?

Luke 6:27-28 “But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you.

Adding the fact that sometimes you did what you do not really intend to do and you hated having done it.

Romans 7:15 For what I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do.

Romans 7:20 Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me.

If we let this sin dwell, and hatred remain, curse that day & time it was aroused for it shows no mercy at all.

Flirting With Men

Jeremiah 4:30 What are you doing, O devastated one? Why dress yourself in scarlet and put on jewels of gold? Why shade your eyes with paint? You adorn yourself in vain. Your lovers despise you; they seek your life.

Showing more skin with clear intention of flirting. Like infection that is transferable to others, inviting men having eyes full of adultery that cannot cease from sin. Unless the man looking is gay, it is like giving sugar to an Ant.

Isaiah 3:16 The LORD says, "The women of Zion are haughty, walking along with outstretched necks, flirting with their eyes, tripping along with mincing steps, with ornaments jingling on their ankles.

The sexually transmitted diseases are very alarming. Moreover the LORD says:

Isaiah 3:24 And so it shall be: Instead of a sweet smell there will be a stench; Instead of a sash, a rope; Instead of well-set hair, baldness; Instead of a rich robe, a girding of sackcloth; And branding instead of beauty.

What's In A Name?

If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place. 2 Chronicles 7:14-15

Even humans call their own by their name. House of Solomon, Wife of Solomon, Children of Solomon, etc. Therefore, It is but logical that the place where the people of God pray is called the Church of God.

Philippians 2:12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;

Preachers may pass away, but the doctrines and the teachings shall not pass away as what they saw and heard are written down. Therefore, it is the teachings that you should accept and have fellowship with at the House of God called the Church of God.

Language Of The Heart

For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornication, murders. Also, for from within, out of the heart of men, bringeth forth righteousness, faith, love, peace.

Proverbs 27:19 As in water face reflects face, So a man’s heart reveals the man.

This is applicable when the motive is brought out in the open coming from the truth within. What if the truth is concealed? Heard of the word betrayed by the heart?

Song of Solomon 5:2 I sleep, but my heart is awake; It is the voice of my beloved! He knocks, saying, “ Open for me, my sister, my love, My dove, my perfect one; For my head is covered with dew, My locks with the drops of the night.”

Denial won't even help because the eyes of the heart clearly see things in the open.

Ephesians 1:18 I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,

This mystery is great; but I am speaking with reference to man and woman.

Women falls under this category who during courtship, though saying not, are betrayed mostly by their heart.

Left And Right

Matthew 6:3 But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,

Reading this verse, I said, it is very impossible that the right hand would not know what the left hand was doing. Wonder why Jesus taught us this way while He Himself knows even a slight touch of his clothes.

Mark 5: 30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched My clothes?”

Luke 8:46 But Jesus said, “Somebody touched Me, for I perceived power going out from Me.”

I consider Matthew 6:3 as a solid food since it can not be digested by babes in faith.

Hebrews 5:14 But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Driving for example is a very good example of what I want to convey.

The senses of a new driver does not work well in the beginning but will work well in the long run. Eyes front, ears listening, left hand on the wheel, the right hand on shifting gear, left foot on clutch, right foot on accelerator and brake - Making them all busy is to know not what the others are doing for they work independently. This is the meaning of senses exercised mentioned in Hebrews 5:14.

Clearly, the left hand knows what the right hand is doing only when the left hand is not busy and not doing anything.

About Trinity

The belief in "Trinity" that the father, son & holy spirit are one and the same is a belief that can not be substantiated by the Bible.

Jesus is claiming to be the son of a Father who is greater than him.

John 14:28 28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

Jesus could have said, for the Father is not greater than I am.

The Father himself said, Jesus is His begotten son.

Hebrews 1:5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

If Jesus will sit on the right hand of the Father, can we consider them one & the same? He could have said it otherwise.

Hebrews 1:13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?

The spirit searched all things that pertains to God.

1 Corinthians 2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

Why do we have to pray to God, not to take away the holy spirit from us. Why not simply pray to the spirit not to go away.

Psalm 51:11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.

Jesus prayed to the father in a place called Gethsemane.

Matthew 26:38-39 Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me. And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

Many are confused with the verse: John 10:30 "I and My Father are one.”

Will this verse confused them also?: Ephesians 5:31 “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.”

The Secret Of Long Life

There was a continuous search of a man for a long life. Went as far as interviewing the sexagenarians and the centenarians. Discovered anti-aging formula from exercise like Tai Chi, balance diet, environment mentality like clean air, good water, low stress, close communities, and unspoiled nature & the more basic is to keep life simple by just being active and get plenty of rest.

But do you know that the Scripture speaks of something anyone should know from the time someone has gain the right understanding.

Ephesians 6:1-3 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. “Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with promise: “that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.”

Take note of the word "parents in the Lord" because there are parents who are not with the Lord. Wonder why this commandment is for the Children?

Hebrews 5:13 For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe.

Follow God commandments and you will have many more years to enjoy!

The Weaker Vessel

Man was created to serve God.

The woman was created to help the man in serving God.

Genesis 2:18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

Ephesians 5:24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

The woman therefore in a stricter sense must in any way make a man under her for she is created only because of him.

In a more detailed explanation:

A dress is made for the body. When the body is fat the dress must be made large. The dress must fit with the body not the body must fit with the dress.

1 Peter 3:7 Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.

Hence, as the wives are subject unto husbands and husband is giving honour unto the wife as a weaker vessel, all their prayers are surely heard.

Animal Cloning

While reading the Scripture, I came across a verse pertaining to cloning of animals or the marcotting of plants or the grafting & budding of fruit trees including the mingling of garments.

Leviticus 19:19 Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee.

What on earth are we doing? If this is an abomination unto God, this practice must be put to an end.

It is prohibited for a man to tamper the work of God. It's like showing that man knows better that Him.

Open Heart

Listening to the word of God is often times the least of our concern. We mostly gave priorities on things that pertains to this world. When all things went worst, it is the only time that God is called.

Mark 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

God is spirit. He that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit.

Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

The reason why I pause and discern every word of God because of a very limited thoughts in a fervent prayer that the Lord will open my heart.

Unless the heart is opened, nobody will ever understand what the Scriptures want to convey.

Acts 16:14 And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul.

Luke 24:45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,

For us human who can not search the heart of a man, know only a good man who bringeth forth good things for the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
