I DIVORCED MY WIFE BUT I LOVE MY CHILDREN

1 Tim 3:2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;

1 Tim 3:3 Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;

1 Tim 3:4 One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;

For if a man can not rule his own house, how can he rule anything much more with the church of god.
1 Tim 3:5 (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)

1 Tim 3:12 Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.
It is unchristian to say that you love your Children but divorced their mother.
1 John 5:1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

Bridge Over Troubled Water

There is no topic more interesting than reading or listening to what God is saying.

John 8:47 He who is of God hears God’s words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God.

People can spend a lot of time or a night at pubs, casinos, outings, drinking with friends but they can't stand an hour of listening to the word of God. They find God's words not so interesting.

2 Timothy 3:1-4 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,

While browsing the internet, people will search & stare at every good business opportunities flashing on their screen but will not read sound doctrines of Scriptures written is this blog. I say this because, this blog features God's words not mine. Well if you are reading this by now, then you are one of the exceptions like Mary the sister of Martha.

Luke 10:38-42 Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word. But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.” And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.”

Truly, we are troubled about many things because we are looking first of what this world can give. Remember the phrase seek ye first the kingdom of God?

James 1:25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

God's words therefore is like a bridge over troubled water.

  1. Wow! a literal bridge over troubled water, I would agree that God is always there to be the bridge whenever turbulent times come our way.
