I DIVORCED MY WIFE BUT I LOVE MY CHILDREN

1 Tim 3:2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;

1 Tim 3:3 Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;

1 Tim 3:4 One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;

For if a man can not rule his own house, how can he rule anything much more with the church of god.
1 Tim 3:5 (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)

1 Tim 3:12 Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.
It is unchristian to say that you love your Children but divorced their mother.
1 John 5:1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

Rottenness In The Bones

I was awaken early morning by a noise from my disgruntled wife. Scolding my daughter for not helping her do the household chores. On top of her voice, she said, I am not your maid who should always wash the dishes. I rushed to the kitchen to do it myself only to find out that she is nearly finished.

Why is she complaining while doing it? Clearly, it's a waste of time for creating an unfavorable atmosphere that weaken my spirit and rotten my bones.

Finding a good wife nowadays is like finding a needle in the midst of a bush.

Proverbs 31:10-27 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands. She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar. She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens. She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard. She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms. She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night. She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff. She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet. She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple. She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.

Proverbs 31:28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.

Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman not fearing the Lord, she is disgusting.

Proverbs 12:4 A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones.

  1. I'm not sure that I completely understand this post. Are you saying that your wife was wrong to scold your daughter for not doing the dishes? I assume so, as you called her scolding a "noise" and rushed out to do the dishes yourself. If my interpretation is correct, I wonder--do you not feel your wife has a responsibility to teach your daughter to help out? And might it not also be your responsibility to back her up? I certainly had chores as a child, as did our children. And our grandchildren, although little, are expected to clean up their toys. I would welcome your comments on this.

  2. Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.

    But, can we not scold or reprimand a child with kindness?

    As you read in my post.

    She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.

    Proverbs 21:19 It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and an angry woman.
