1 John 4:1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
John 7:17 If anyone wills to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from God or whether I speak on My own authority.
John 7:18 He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who seeks the glory of the One who sent Him is true, and no unrighteousness is in Him.
The big question is, how do we know that it is from God?
First, the message comes directly from the Father Himself.
Hebrews 1:5 For to which of the angels did He ever say: “ You are My Son, Today I have begotten You”? And again: I will be to Him a Father, And He shall be to Me a Son”?
It is a hidden secret between God and Jesus made known only to Angels when it was revealed.
Hebrews 1:13 But to which of the angels has He ever said: “ Sit at My right and, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool”?
Secondly, God secrets are revealed to us through His Spirit.
1 Corinthians 2:10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
Lastly, It was revealed to those who preached the gospel by the Holy Spirit.
1 Peter 1:12 To them it was revealed that, not to themselves, but to us they were ministering the things which now have been reported to you through those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven—things which angels desire to look into.
Luke 12:3 Therefore whatever you have spoken in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have spoken in the ear in inner rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops.
Isaiah 58:1 “Cry aloud, spare not; Lift up your voice like a trumpet; Tell My people their transgression, And the house of Jacob their sins.
This is a complete opposite of the prayer being done in secret.
Matthew 6:6 But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
There is no need to shout it loud for our Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.
Jeremiah 17:9 “ The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?
Jeremiah 17:10 I, the LORD, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings.
I therefore conclude that when I pray in secret, I am under the authority of Jesus who constantly keep secrets with God.
